yes the following confirms it.

With a wrapper to make it read nicely

2000 was a leap year

dates before 01/03/2000 will be in error (+1 day).

I can't quite figure out why, but the calculation isn't taking into account that 2000 was a leap year (unlike most century years), but it looks like it should.

use with caution - it's fine for everything after that date
